    Yes, however obtaining any app store applications other than through the app store is illegal!

    Yeah jailbreaking is completely legal. It does, however void your warrenty. But you can get the warrenty back intact by simply restoring the iPod.

    It is completely legal, but please remember that a search can solve most of your questions, if it doesn't, then ask.

    I'm not much of a searcher. I feel better asking people that have done/experienced. Not reading about it...sorry.

    No, just because an application is distributed in Cydia does not make it illegal.


    Showing that you've put in some effort to find a solution on your own is often necessary/helpful when asking others. Despite one's intentions, one comes across as lazy when he/she simply asks without doing any work beforehand.

    No. I know what you mean though. What he's saying is that obtaining AppStore applications by other means is illegal, yes very. We do not tolerate that either.
