    I am wondering If i put my ipod touch in recovery mode can I take it out of recovery mode? Also with iRecovery is it possible to transfer a file from my computer to the ipod touch?

    Once it is in recovery mode, I believe the only way out is a restore. And I don't believe that it is possible to use it to transfer a file.

    I don't know if you can use iRecovery to transfer files, but I found this app called folders, and you can transfer files onto your ipod via a specific IP adress in your browser

    Nope. It can easily be taken out of recovery mode.

    I think once its in DFU mode, it cant be taken out without a restore.
