so for some reason today my ipod is being retarded and wont charge. i keep unplugging the cable and plugging it back into my ipod but, doesnt work until like 20 times. then it only charges for like 10 seconds. and my battery only holds a charge for like 6 hours while listening to music, so im pretty sure they will give me a new one right?

No, take it to the store. All iPod touches are still under warranty. They will replace it.

restart your computer or plug your ipod into a wall charger
