[Question]Warrenty

    If i jailbreak my iPod touch, the warrenty is broken, Correct?

    And then if i just restore the whole thing, is the warrenty Fixed?

    Like, can apple trace that i've done it before?...

    Well, it's open to debate. I think there's a small chance apple can tell you've jailbroken, but I don't think they bother checking. If you restore, you'll be fine if you ever run into problems.

    So, you're saying that if its jailbroken and it breaks or somtin like the screen cracks and i restore it they will till fix it?

    Actually dude, my friend went to apple today because his power/sleep button for some reason stopped working, before he went he restored everything so there would be no signs of jailbreak, when he arrived at the apple store, he explained everything to the guy, the guy took his ipod touch and unfortunately for my friend, the guy was a jackass and checked for any signs of jailbreak, he then later came out and told him sorry we cant do anything about it, and explained to him that he did a diagnostics test or something like that and that he found traces of 3rd party apps being installed.

    Damn, I didn't think they could be bothered checking for jailbreaks. Seems they are though <.<
