After I put it in DFU mode, the home screen came up and shows Cydia, that's great.

Itunes is asking me if I want to restore to my back up or to a new ipod, what do you choose? Thanks.

I'm gonna say no, although some people like having their ipod's restored when I went from 1.1.4 to 2.0 and did restore I kept getting the SWOD, but once I said no, it was fine

Set up as new, it wont work if you use the backup because it backs up from before pwning ipod.

On my iPhones, I've restored from backup without any issues (using an ipsw generated by xpwn; xwinpwn should generate the exact same thing).
