Ok, technically, it should be fine to update to 2.2.1 yeah?

Would like some sort of confirmation before i go updating.

Dont do it. Just incase. You never know. Wait for chronic or dev team to say something. The dev team suggests not to update, look on blog.iphone-dev.org

You guys know what this means right? redsn0w and 2g ipod jailbreak delay. Iphone dev now need to update yellowsn0w.

Of course it's fine! If it's not possible to jailbreak 2.2.1 just restore with the 2.2 IPSW

i know that, im just talking in terms of not having to DFU etc.

it should work because we upload the 2.1.1 iBBS dont we? I just want to make sure because apple could have changed something.

I here this alot from my dad, "Never update when something just comes out, because there is always going to be some bugs when it is just released."
