    Hey.

Right now I'm on 2.0.2 firmware. I'm looking to upgrade to 2.2 but I need to know what exactly I need to do. I have read different things.

Do I upgrade to 2.2 in iTunes, then download 2.2 separately then use QuickPWN?

Or do I just need to download the 2.2 firmware file and use QuickPWN?

I'm pretty sure it is the former and not the latter but like I said, I read it two different ways and it has been a while since I jailbroke my iPod touch and can't remember what I had to do.

    Thanks.

    1. Upgrade to 2.2 in iTunes
    2. Download QuickPwn 2.2
    3. Plug iPod in
    4. Run QuickPwn
    5. Enjoy Jailbreak

Good instructions, that's what you gotta do exactly.

I just wanted to add that updating to Firmware 2.2 in iTunes won't remove any App Store applications, music, videos, etc - but it will remove anything from jailbreak such as applications and other mods.
