    Hello Everyone

I just updated my ipod touch 1G to 2.2! and I'm about to jailbreak it, I already downloaded Quickpwn 2.2 and when I tried to search for the 2.2 firmware, I could not find it. I have searched everywhere and I don't find, I even tried downloading it again but I can't figure out how... do you know where I can download it from? if you can give me a link that would be great

    THANKS

Well when you pressed 'browse' was it not on the official apple folder with the firmware in there?

If you did download it, these would be the locations :

    Windows XP
    C:/Documents and Settings/username/Application Data/Apple Computer/iTunes/iPod Software Updates/

    Windows Vista
    C:/Users/username/AppData/Roaming/Apple Computer/iTunes/iPod Software Updates/

For Windows : If you can't see AppData or Application Data, Go Start --> Run and type : "%AppData%" without the quotation marks.

    Mac OS X
    /Users/username/Library/iTunes/iPod Software Updates/

Replace username with your actual UserName.

If you have actually downloaded it and not deleted it, they should be there.

Please don't threadjack. Start a new thread or search for older threads.

If you connect your iPod Touch to another computer, it will likely remove all current data on the iPod and put new data from the computer you just plugged it into. Also, it may ask you for the password for authorization.
