    Hello,
I have an iPhone 3Gs which is pretty new and I would like to know if this is normal that on stand-by mode it drains about 1% per 2 - 3 hours.
I disabled the Mail app and other things that run on background and it increased the battery life but I'd like to know if the current situation is normal.
It says on the website that it can last for 300 hours on stand-by mode but mine can stand for about 200 hours with my calculation.
I'm using the 3G option by the way since in my cell company it won't let me use the phone option without 3G.

    Thanks a lot.

3G drains more battery. Your battery seems okay if you ask me.

I see thanks a lot, just wanted to be sure.

    Edit:
    I know it's on when it's on stand-by.

its normal. on standby your iphone is still connected to the cell network which is the primary reason your battery will still go down.

Do you use push for e-mail or Apps like Facebook? That can drain battery life. I notice a major difference in battery life between using push notifications and when I'm not...
