I noticed that my iPod doesn't have a flight mode.
Does it mean I can use it normally on planes?
    Thank you.

Why couldn't you use an iPod on a plane?
Airplane Mode on the iPhone is to turn of the phone feature of your iPhone.

Well I thought maybe the wi-fi can somehow send signals or something.

You will be instructed to turn off all electronic devices. And when you turn devices on, you are instructed to disable their wireless capbilities.

    Just turn off your wi-fi . . . .
