QUESTION. dual boot 1.1.4, 2.2

    hey all

    im sitting here..im really bored... enlighten me

    i have my jb, 2.2, ipod touch 1g, sitting in my lap..staring at me

    i was wondering, is there an automatic program tihing that "dual boots" 2.2 and 1.1.4? its really too big a pain to do all that manual crap... (already looked around on forums, nothing there..if i missed sometihng dont be a jerk aobut it)

    why does that matter? i guess cuz theres some stuff there u cant get on 2.0

    but i hate to be a butt. but i dont want this to turn into one of those posts that screws evcerytihng up.. answers please, not more questions

    Basicall everything you can get from 1.1.4 is now available on 2.2. There is absolutely no need.

    Most of the apps that were on 1.1.4 most likely have all ready been ported to the most current firmware, if not they probability will be.

    I see what you did there.

    But anyway. Dualbooting any firmware/OS is not important until a version of Linux with a realized GUI is ported over.

    Other than the manual, Terminal-intensive way, there is no other way to dual-boot your iPod touch.
