Does the Bluetooth really work on the iPod Touch 2G with the 3.0 beta firmware?
Just curious to know if we are really getting Bluetooth when the real version comes out

I dont think the bluetooth is going to work that good if it really comes out because the iPod Touch doesnt have a bluetooth chip unlike the iPhone 3G does, soo yeah.

Well I've seen in a video an iPod Touch 2G with 3.0 beta firmware that has a Bluetooth option there but he didn't really show that it works..

It does have a BT chip. It will work fine. The issue is that the firmware will only be loaded for services that will work for headphones. Data connections and things like that will only be through a jailbreak.

So basically just the firmware it's self will not let me transfer data and such right?
