Can you backup your entire iPod as an IPSW file so that you can use an app like (god help me, I hate the name of this thing) Pwnage Tool to restore it with all your apps, settings, and everything intact? My point is that I have my iPod at a state which is currently stable and working, yet I have dozens of apps installed, as well as many Repo resources. On top of that, I have each app to the settings I like (i.e. MobileChat has my account info, etc). I know there are already tedious apps that will save your settings from individual apps, but that seems counter-productive. I don't want to sit there tapping away at 4000 things after I have completed a restore. I want a single restore point with everything intact. So, is there anything like this or is there anything in the works to accomplish this task? Thanks F.Y.I. I'm on a Mac and I can both AFP into my iPod and I use CyberDuck to SFTP into it. I could conceivably drag everything out of the iPod into a folder on my Mac, but I fear permissioning would be an issue if I tried to drag them back INTO the iPod.
