I have some question about jailbreaking.

    Is it legal?
If illegal, did someone once got punished for that?
    Could it happen?
Also, does it open MUCH MORE COOL possibilities?
What firmware version comes with a new ipod touch 2g?
Is the Ipod touch 1g still in sale?
And... I am sympathic, and if someone wants to pm me and be in my contacts, especially if he's a 13 years old youth like me, I am open!

If illegal, did someone once got punished for that? Nah cuz its legal
Could it happen? Not really. Iv'e seen people that work in the apple store, jailbroken
Also, does it open MUCH MORE COOL possibilities? You better believe it.
What firmware version comes with a new ipod touch 2g? If you were to go out and buy it today, i would think 2.2.1, but im not completely sure.

and to answer your question is the 1g i pod touch still on sale? Well here in the UK it's pretty hard to find any store that sells them now, but you can still purchase them second hand try e-bay.

Last I checked (Two days ago) the 1st gen touch is still for sale on Amazon.com. I personally prefer the 1st gen over my second gen because I have a better grip on it.

To answer your question, "does it open MUCH MORE COOL possibilities?" YES! I don't know how I managed to enjoy my ipod touch until I jailbroke it. Everyone is riled up about the new 3.0 update. However, I believe a 2.2.1 jailbroken iPod has much more potential.

    it is reversible... as always.

you just need to hit the restore button in itunes and youre back to your non-jailbroken firmware.

    dont worry...

maybe you should just search the forum for what people do with a jailbroken device.

then think of it if you want that too.

    either ways you are fine...

blatent, how is there more potential for a jailbroken 2.2.1 iPod?

I don't see how that works. With 3.0, there is more that you can do, and more stuff to change around. What can you do on 2.2.1 that you can't do on 3.0?
