    Hello everyone,
I'd like to know how exactly does that AT&T activation work (I couldn't really understand what is written on the forums when I googled it).

Anyways, let's say I'm running an OS which cannot be unlocked by 3rd party programs (which is not my problem, just need info) and I have an AT&T sim card which is unactivated and was never used.
After I insert my AT&T sim card and activate it through iTunes, will my iPhone work but only as an iPod Touch?
Also, if I restore my iPhone again after I activated it with that sim card, will it still be activated or do I need a new AT&T sim card?

Sorry for many questions and long sentences

You just need the sim for the activation right.
And after restore you dont need a new one

After youve done it, you can use it always as an "ipod touch with camera "

Ofcurse when you gonna restore, you need to activate it again , but until then its your iTouch with Cam

And if I activate it again, I don't need a new sim card to do so right?
