I am planning on getting an Ipod Touch (2g) in the coming Month and I was looking at the Apple USB Power Adapter.

Does this give the device power for only charging? Or can you use an Ipod Touch while this is plugged in?

I have never owned an Ipod before so I wasn't sure...I own a Sansa device and whenever that device is plugged into my laptop to get a charge I am unable to use it....I was just curious if the Ipods are the same way when they are charging.

    Thanks!

when its plugged into the computer, you can only use it whilst it isn't syncing (that is, copying music to the device etc) when it is not in use, you can use the ipod fine. you can also play music off you ipod onto the computer.
when connected to a power source, it makes no difference to the use of the ipod. playing music and running apps will run perfectly normally.
