As I've been saying in a few threads that I'm new here and new to iTouch.

    8GB: 1,750 songs - 10 hours of video
    16GB: 3,500 songs - 20 hours of video
    32GB: 7,000 songs - 40 hours of video

Ok now, my question is this...

Lets say I got the 16GB 2G iTouch. It holds 3,500 songs and 20 hours of video. It will only hold 3,500 songs with no videos ONLY if I used up the space with songs? As in I wont be able to add the 20 hours of videos if the iTouch has the 3,500 songs in it right? The same question goes for videos.

    Just making sure!!!

Apples gives you the maximum for every category.
    e.g.
3500 songs = nothing else fits
20 hours video = nothing else fits
    10 hours video = 1750 songs (approx)

Songs are based on 4 minutes each.
    Apple is giving an approximate.

Don't forget that audio quality is also a factor. If all your songs are in a lossless format (Like AppleLossless or FLAC), then you wouldn't be able to hold as many songs (since they are larger files). Just go into iTunes, and make sure your Library is less than 16GB (or what ever size iPod you are planning on getting).
