Question about saving Tap files (i.e using TTR minus WiFi)

    Hey,

I've just installed this awesome app, however I'd like to access the songs in my iTunes library when not connected to WiFi.

As TTR searches my library and finds the relevant tap files, is there a way I can get these to stay on my iPod?

It says downloading at the beginning of the track, however the song's not then available in the downloaded tracks section, nor can I find it via SSH.

So i'm guessing it deletes the tap file after the song's done perhaps?

    Any thoughts on this?

    Cheers,
    -Van

It seems such a trivial thing.

The MP3's are on my iPod via iTunes and can be identified via their ID3 tags.

TTR can pull these music tracks and play them, whilst DOWNLOADING and STORING the .tap file somewhere temporarily.

SURELY TTR can just download these .tap files to /var/root/Media/TTR/Taps so they can be permanently stored, and thus you can tap to YOUR OWN SONGS without the need of a WiFi connection, and having to remember which tap version of the song you liked best.

    They are such small files.

EDIT: Could this not be achieved with symlinking?

    Bumb, - oh yeah. Please!

I want to download a few songs and then play them in the bus.

Yeah, it seems as if everybody is placing the music files in their iPods and making the tap files themselves. Thisis a good alternative, but if you can't make taps, it would be handy to do this.

    So bump.
