Question about putting Windows on a Mac

    so i have a Macbook and my dad has a PC i wanna put Windows 7 on my macbook using VMWare but i have a question before i do it
    i know macs dont get virus but if i were to put windows on my mac will it be more vulnerable to virus on it since there is windows on it?

    I'm not exactly sure, but I think the virus will only affect the Windows virtual machine.
    Correct me if I'm wrong.

    Viruses affect your Operating system. Rare rare cases, hardware. Remember. A Mac is still a PC. If you put Windows on it, the viruses will affect Windows. Not OS X.

    oh ok ya that makes sense thanks for the quick response so i guess i dont really have anything to worry about since i wont be downloading anything from the internet on the windows VM ill be doing all my downloading on my mac i just wanted the windows cause there are some programs i have i would love to use but cant..
