hi i was just wondering if you guys turn off ur ipod touch everytime u quit listening to them. my friend said it's better if u let it 'sleep' if you are only gonna not listen for a few hours. does powering off and on take a lot of battery power? and do u guys let it sleep or power it off everytime u stop listening to it?? thanx

yes, i say you should let it sleep rather than doing a complete shut down.

i personally dont turn it off when im done with it since when it comes time to turn it on, the rebooting process eats away at more battery power than sleeping it does.

Just be sure Wi-Fi is off while its sleeping and you will see the battery will last longer compared to turning it off and on everytime.

Well when the iPod boots into the firmware it uses a bit of the battery. I dunno about 20% but
it uses a bit when it boots up. I also hardly ever power it off.
