    Hello iPoTFans members,

I was just wondering what some developers/users think about the legality of distributing Heavenly.dmg (the iPoT/iPhone's root filesystem). I know that there are automatic toolchain installers for Windows and Mac (and possibly Linux; this I do not know), but none of them include Heavenly.

So what do you guys think?

IDK about Linux - but for windows during setup it ssh's into ur device and downloads the filesystem to the appropriate destination

Mac- You can decrypt an IPSW, or ssh into your device and download the filesystem - technically heavenly is not illegal, its just a ramdisk, comes with every IPSW, and PwnageTool/WinPwn

Thanks for the reply, but I'm still unsure whether Apple likes people distributing their filesystems...

I was unaware than Pwnage included the disk. I'll check into that a little more; maybe I can find some answers there.
