I just jailbroke my ipod yesterday and today i realized that i had only 63mb out of 1396mb free on my hdd. Is this normal? Because before i jailbroke to 3.0 i had like 200mb free. If it isn't normal whats taking up all that space?

in cydia it says it takes up 500 mb of system memory partition, thats the OS and some other files cydia adds.

I know what an OS does I've already figured the OS wasn't the the whole prob with the hdd space (If not even a prob). I only want to know whats taking up all that space and how to fix it because 63 mb free space on my hdd isn't anything. I'll fill that up with themes and what not from cydia in no time. And Whats your HDD Space?

3.0 actually freed up some space for me.

idk since I'm not really getting anywhere with this thread guess I'll just go through my folders one by one and see if theres any thing that shouldn't be there. But I really appreciate the help though

It appearers that things got duplicated for some reason so instead of ruining my ipod by deleting a duplicate that I shouldn't I'll just re-jailbreak my Ipod and start all over again

Now that you said it that hang when I tried to jailbreak it the first time makes sense.

edit: none of my files seem to be duplicated. Maybe it's because 3.0 has a bit more system items than 2.2.1
