First post, I don't know if this is the right place.

I plan on buying a 1st gen 32gig Touch pretty soon, and wish to jailbreak it.
I've done plenty of reading and know all about SSH and whatnot, but I have found something that I want to do but don't know how.

Alright, so I downloaded all the files necessary to Jailbreak the Touch (QuickPwn, Firmware, MobileInstallation file) blah blah.

But just the other day, on a ******* site (Demonoid), someone uploaded a *Custom* 2.1 Firmware. It comes pre-installed with Cydia and Installer, new fonts, apps, and the like. But I don't know how I would go about putting this on my Touch...

Would I just use QuickPwn and just uncheck Cydia and Installer? Or would I have to do something else?

Any help would be appreciated! ;D

So, would I just un-check the "Install Cydia" and "Installer" boxes?
    Then just choose the firmware?

Your device needs to be jailbroken already. The you do a shift + restore on itunes and select that firmware
