question about cydia

    okey, so. got a 2.0.2 jailbroken ipod with cydia and its works great except the part that when i installed for example gpSPHONE and MacMan from cydia it wont show up on the springboard and i dont know how to fix that.. i dunno if its a problem or if its just something i need to do for them to show up.. hoping for a reply

    Well first of all, installer 4 sucks (bad) at the moment....

    But Cydia works 100% of the time for me, trying going to Cydia, un-install whatever you installed, reboot your iPod and retry

    True, unfortunately, but the sources contain pretty cool stuff that cydia doesn't have...

    No but you see thats kinda the problem, you see, i installed WinterBoard and BossTool and both of them showed up and im able to uninstall them... but none of the other stuff like gpSPHONE and MacMan for example works, i cant install them and they dont show up on the springboard :/ i can install them over and over, nothing happens..

    you guys need to REBOOT at least once or twice

    well that doesn't really make sense, since BossTool and WinterBoard showed up directly when i installed em' .. plus i aldready rebooted my ipod like 4-5times >.<

    Go to their pane in cydia and press reinstall. That should do the trick.

    This happened to me the first time I used cydia. Either reboot or download respring and use it
