Does the Touch 2g support headphones that have a built-in microphone?

Has anyone with such a headset been able to get it the mic to work?

    Thanks!

I don't have one, but I know that it should work on 3.0 firmware

No, 3.0 GM doesn't enable use of the mic built-in to many stereo bluetooth headsets, though with the 3.0 jailbreak, who knows what's possible.

Same with me I have the headphones working but the mic does not work. I think the motorola s9's mic works with the 2g but that's just from a thread I was reading. Next time search first!

Hopefully when the JB version comes out, there might be a hack in cydia that would allow the full usage of bluetooth.

I believe sweettooth is adding 2g support so on wednesday we might just have file sharing.
