    I hope this is true.

(Actually, I don't really know how much I care, because I'm too poor to pay the monthly premium for a smartphone).

It's only an extra $30 for all of the services that you need for a smartphone.

Me I would love if this actually happens. The only reason I don't have an iPhone is bcause of it being on AT&T and I'm on verizon.

That adds up a lot though. I don't know if you pay the phone bill, but that's an extra $360 a year, meaning $720 if you buy the phone with a two year contract. Add in the $200+ phone and you've made the iPhone a $1000 two-year investment.

thats if you get the 2 year contract. they do have a one year plan.(which would be what i do if they do this. just upgrade during my contract now and bam)

ya ive read allot of places and people at Verizon that they will be getting the iphone, cause at&t are having way to many problems with service, they plan to announce it this month at the apple event.. although i do have Verizon i wont get an iphone just because i dont wanna pay the extra for the data plan

Sorry to tell you this very obvious news, but this is in no way official. No matter where you've seen it, if this news were official then you'd see it everywhere on every tech blog across the web.

Anywhoooo... I myself would not be happy if this rumor became a reality. I'm good with the iPhone being exclusive to AT&T.
