anyone who has questions about 2.0 jailbreak, post them here...
    then others with answers reply.

    i have a few...

as we all know PT 2.0 was release about 2 hrs ago.
i have to wait until my brother gets home so i can use his mac to hack it.

but heres the question, i was looking at a tuorial and it was saying how u have to choose the firmware file that you used to update to 2.0.

i updated to 2.0 on my PC, so does that mean he has to re-download the same .ipsw to his mac then choose it there.

and also im sure i have to sync my ipod with his itunes to do the custom fw restore.

    A few things:

    1) Make sure iTunes.app is in the main Applications directory or Pwnage will give you an error.

    2) You can ONLY use the 5A347 IPSW firmware file. The 5A345 will NOT work.

    I have a couple questions:

1- Why are people so anxious to pwn thier iPods when you can't do anything with Cydia? What's the point?
2- For the people who have a pwned .ispw you obiviously shift/option click restore but does your iPod have to previously be pwned to do this.

WHY Jailbreak? I get my precious filesystem access back.. and DRM strippage testing... 1.1.4 Runtime hell... my usual busy self.
