yeah it should... but you just install bosstool and relocate apps folder and you have no 300mb limit.

on the contrary, and i am taking a guess here, i don't know if you can enter terminal codes BUT lets say you could enter the application move codes, if you can tell me and i will give it to you, Second The other guy i think might be wrong, The firmware is not split up yet so I think that it does not have a limit but you must run BossTool right after or you will have problems, These Are All Guess

Otherwise He's Right, Theres a space limit

You can use bosstools to do the "application move code"

There are 2 partitions on the Ipod drive, a 300mb OS partition, which apps are installed into, and the other partition has the rest of the space which music, videos are put on. I think there is about 20mb free for apps on the 300mb partition w/o installing any apps, but you can use bosstools to move the fonts or applications to the media partition to free up space. Also I think there was a limit to the number of apps you can have, if you have more than 80-something apps I think someone said springboard will keep crashing. Maybe that was an older firmware version, maybe I just made it up, I'm pretty sure there is a number of app limit though
