you should do some change at the first thread. first of all cmw is not a part of the Dev Team. and also winpwn is for both vista and xp, not just xp. actually it was made on a vista machine.
so im thinking of pwning my iPod until 2.0 comes out... my only question is, does pwning ur iPod wipe the memory or do all ur settings and iTunes data stay the way they are, like will i have to resync music and such.
Anyway... I'm doing an experiment and I want to have 1.1.1 1.1.4 Winpwn. So 1.1.4 Winpwn is great and working. But when I try to Winpwn 1.1.1 And make my custome firmware, I can't restore it on iTunes it just stays at the (preparing iPod for recovery) and that's all that happens. I tried it only once so maybe that's why. Someone Please let me know!! Thanks!
I have the following restore file: iPhone1,1_2.0_5A331_Restore.ipsw, but i can't get it to work with Pwnage, someone got an idea? I could restore it with iTunes but i didn't got it activated...
Hello I just wanted to re-do my jailbreaking on my ipod touch and I was thinking of doing it differently this time around instead of the boring Ziphone SO what I wanna know is do I restore my ipod then use this pwnage jailbreak and it will jailbreak it with the added features you are talking about?
