So could this mean the return of sites like Jailbreak-me.com?

Highly unlikely 'This exploit doesn’t get out of the iPhone sandbox'

Interesting story though. Front paged (and it helps to push down that awful Tapulous release).

Interesting, apple should patch this up quickly because IMO this is bigger than the "SMS virus" a few months back and apple patched that up rather quick. How can businesses trust to use the iPhone when it is constantly exploited.

    Well...

In fairness, the iPhone is 'constantly exploited' because of how common it is. There are more and more iPhone users, therefore it makes more sense for hacker groups to work the iPhone.

Also, if you navigate to a iPhone / iPod / iPad focused site, you will see more and more iExploits. I'm sure if someone came up with a droidtouchfans site then we'd see the same types of things there.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to defend the shoddy protection built into the iPhone - I for one am sick of the fact that I cant have flash on my phone, nor an ad blocker. Nothing more awesome than waiting for a page to load through the ads.

wow. i guess thats pretty cool. except for the fact that it exists. is it a good thing apple has the info now? im pretty wary of apple, considering all the news about the ipad and how flash seems to be a big turn off and all that stuff that i cant even try to understand.

    This.

I hate how people constantly complain about how something is "so easy to exploit," i.e. the PC, when people fail to realize how popular it is. It paints a much larger target on its back in the hacker world; why create an exploit for something if only a small amount of people are affected?
