So, since Dongles are now useless, and I'm sure some of us have them. What can they be used for? Right now I have my dongle set to send the run rs command, and the run rs command triggers the commands needed to boot my iPod out of Recovery Mode if needed. So are there any other things we can do by simply sending commands? Because we could set them to be activated with run rs.

ok.. just saying.. anyone who would own a dongle and who would have another use for them would know what the runrs codes do.. so u rly didn't need to explain them...

but honestly, i don't think there is another use for them... they're just paperweights now... the only thing i can think of is that they may be able to be implimented in the ipod touch 2g Dual Boot for those interested in getting the 3.0 beta illegally... or those who r devs who really want 2 have both jailbroken 2.2.1, and 3.0 beta2. so... yeah.. idk that may be one application of them.. other than that.. idk.

The process is even more complicated then the first gen way, and far more unstable. Dont even attempt it unless you know what your doing. Your messing with partitions and if you accidentily delete some (or format them) you could possibly BRICK (yes! I said it!) your ipod.
