OK, so this solution does not integrate the files in with the rest of your vidoes, but this is a great alternative when you just want to get a video file (.mov, .mpeg, .m4v, .mp4) onto your touch without having to install itunes - nice if you're using someone else's computer or if you just really want to avoid itunes at all costs.

Here's the app - fileaid (note this is NOT an itunes link). I know, right now it's $4.95, but I got it for FREE a few weeks ago, just watch it on appshopper.com or appsniper or whatnot.

Honestly just stumbled on this one today, though the app documents support for video and audio files along with the other expected pdf, doc, txt, jpg, etc. I'm not sure if this was just under the radar for folks or if they thought (like I did) that it was a way to transport the file only.

Anyway, once you load a video file on there, you can access it by selecting it from your list of files within the fileaid app, and it will launch and play in the ipod's built-in player, just like any other video. Audio files will also play from here , but they also play in the same video player and don't display album art or song info, and won't let you skip between tracks on the fly, so it's not really something you'd want to use for everyday audio but hey, that's what mediamonkey is for, right?

Once you load the app, you launch it and turn on sharing and your ipod basically becomes an ftp server, the sharing window even has directions on how to get to it in vista, XP, or OSx.

Also, you can access it via USB by downloading and installing their little client on you PC/mac. link What I did was download the .exe install package onto my PC, installed it, then copied the exe to my ipod so I'd have it when I wanted to use it elsewhere.

Another nice benefit is that you can put your "private"

videos here to keep them at least a little more hidden than right in with your other vids.

Discover is a Free iTunes app that does the same thing. Transfer the files with DiskAid. Password protection too. There. A 100% Free solution for you to watch porn whenever you want.

Don't ever touch me with your hands or bring your iPod/iPhone near me or I swear I will drop you into a vat of sugar & bullet ants.

    Videos to Touch without iTunes-

I have the above and another app that lets me do what you say but... none of them will let me play the video through my TV. The iPod Touch original Videos section plays videos, that I have put there with iTunes, extremely well on my LCD tv . I have another PC that can't sync with itunes and it is videos on that one that I put in apps like Files/Fileapp. So are there any other apps that can push videos to my TV?
