email them to yourself from your ipod to your computer.

sorry, see you've tried that. if you plug into your computer it should see the images.

You can screenshot each picture on your iPod, which will move them to saved pictures. Then you can pull them off.

There's also the .ithmb files in the iPod Photo Cache folder. No idea if those are usable files, but they are probably still there.

If you are on a mac, plug in your iPod and use Image Capture. If you are on a PC, I have no idea whatsoever.

pictures from ipod touch to computer

I don't know any program for mac that can do this, but I know one that works for Windows, so what you can do is to use a friend's PC, download this app, install it, connect your iPod, let it display your pictures, select the photos and copy them to your friend's PC (i.e. on the desktop). Then, just grab a memory usb and save them all! There you go

You realize that the quality of the images is downscaled when you sync, so the images you copy back will look worse than they did originally.

If you have iPhoto, it should recognize the iPod Touch as a camera.

I usually just plug the iPod in via USB, locate the device (like this) and drag the files onto my computer.

I used a program called Copytrans. Altho the free version puts in an "tag" in the picture, just google for a keygen otherwise
