put ipod touch into dfu using keypress???

    just to make sure before I do this dont you just use pwnage tool and select dfu mode?? Whats this key press thing ty im almost done!!

    The keypress is holding down "Power button+Home" while in USB mode, and once the iPod shuts down, you let go of the power button, but keep holding "Home" for 10 seconds. It'll turn on, and voila, your in DFU mode.

    hold home and power for 7 seconds wait 2 more release power keep holding home for ten more

    I was able to do all the parts for tethered, but this part. I have the worst timing.

    ummm help!! was it to turn on more because its not booted as far as I know the screens not on and it wolnt power back up!!!!

    Click power and home button and it will go on.

    I did that and Its going on so is it in dfu now???

    iTunes will tell you if its in recovery mode. Also if its first time using DFU mode it will install drivers.
