I installed beejive IM on my iPod Touch 2nd Gen, and all of a sudden push stopped working. The app worked fine, but push didnt. Not just in beejive, in any app. So, i installed the push fix and reinstalled the apps. Nothing. I had no other idea but restore the ipod to factory settings... I restored it to a brand new unjailbroken 3.0 firmware, and push still doesnt work. Its enabled in the settings and in the app. I rejailbroke it and tried the push fix, nothing. I restored it to unjailbroken AGAIN, and push STILL DOESNT WORK. This is all on 3.0. Can ANYONE help? I've checked and double checked and everything is enabled. I dont get how its still not working on factory restore.

Yes. I'm even IMing myself and they only show when I open the program, no notification

    That's strange...

to be honest I think that is just the application's problem, not the device. Have you even tried using other apps with push?

Unless coincidentially aim and beejive push isn't working, I'm guessing it's sonethig with the iPod. I don't get it because it's restored to unjailbroken and still won't work -_-

Possibly call up Apple and get a new iPod out of the deal?
    I don't really know what's wrong.

This might sound stupid, but go to Settings.

Navigate to the Push Notifications section.
Make sure its switched to on, and Beejive IM should be listed on the list.

If BeeJive IM is NOT on the list, you dont have the latest version, and you should update.

It was on and I did buy the app. For some reason signing out of the appstore seemed to fix it....
