I'm assuming this is for 3.0.

You have to be using an application that takes advantage of Apple's new Push system.

Once you have at least one app installed that uses push, then you will get the options. Not until.

Even if you have the 3.0 beta, it won't matter unless you have an application that is going to use it, no?

If so, doesn't that mean we can't test until 3.0 is released publicly (final)?

Push will have to be built into each individual application for it to work with them. Basically if you want push for IM and facebook and stuff, you have to either wait until its publicly released for each app or get into their beta team.

Your best bet is to wait until its publicly released.

Just wait for the update in June. If you [REDACTED], getting push working is easy enough though:

    1) [REDACTED]
    2) [REDACTED]
    3) [REDACTED]
    4) [REDACTED]
    5) [REDACTED]

    And in your app:

    1) [REDACTED]
    2) [REDACTED]

Don't forget to [REDACTED] because [REDACTED].
