Push notification on 3.0 (touch 1 gen)

    A question guys, I 've just updated my iPod Touch 1st gen, and don´t find or can´t see anything related to push notification, can someone help me !!

    Push notifications are supported. It's up to developers to implement them inot applications.

    thanks..... I 've asked because I think I saw an image of an iPhone a Push Notification button in Settings..

    Thats because you have no apps with Push... when you do it will be in the settings.app

    I believe it depends on what mail you use. I believe Gmail uses push, but not Yahoo!, for example, but I may be wrong.

    Gmail does not use Push. Yahoo! does. MobileMe is also Push.

    Ah, sorry. I had it backwards. But you get the point. Certain Mail providers use it, others don't.
