Ok guys, help me! I have SBC Yahoo! E-Mail (SBCglobal at&t is my IP). Well, i set up the account in the mail app under the yahoo option, it all checks and whatnot. I send myself a test email off of another account and nothing shows up for forever. So i download pushmod in cydia, which if any of you unjailbroken people are wondering modifies the time to 1, 3, 5 and i think 10? minutes. Well, i thought push didn't need a time setting! It kills my battery while im sleeping. 25% in about 8 hours. I also have supreme preferences three on there. So all of my email account settings both in supreme preferences and the mail app are all now set to manual and the account itself got taken off of fetch and put to manual. How do i set this account to push without having to time it for one minute and killing battery? I need to be able to get e-mails the second they're sent to me pretty much. Are the settings for push or am i correct in thinking that push is instant and the time settings are for accounts that arent "push"able. Help please? Oh, and it doesn't say push under the account, just fetch and manual. I read somewhere it should say push?

With Supreme Preferences Three, you can set it to check every minute.
There's no way you can do this and save battery at the same time. I think.

Yes, but doesn't push do it automatically? I just have a "fetch" and a "manual" setting, no push. but yahoo should be able to do push.

    Yahoo does have Push....

    yeah, I doubt it.

No app has push that "only works on an iPhone".
