Is this problem just for iPhones, or what? Because Push works on my iPod touch.

Just iPhones that were not activated through iTunes. During normal activation, system certs are generated. On the iPod touch, these certs are generated on the first iTunes connection.

It depends if rolando 2 uses badges, sounds or alerts (notification messages). In AIM, you get all 3.
