purple screen of death?

    hey i was just wondering i keep on getting a PURPLE screen with connect to itunes when i try to upgrade to 2.0. (other people keep calling it pink so idk if its differnt or not) so i was wondering if i did something wrong or if there is a way around this?

    You need to have a Pwned iPod/iPhone, and a custom 2.0 Firmware IPSW.

    The only people who don't are part of the iPhone Enterprise Development Team. They get the firmware from Apple directly and have a code they have to use. Pwnage allows you to bypass that.

    theres ways to get around it involving disableing your internet and then turning it back on..

    its confusing and i forgot how to do it

    The fix is to use the proper software to install it which is only available for Mac right now
