You've already tried a reboot right? And clearing your Safari cookies?

Why in the world would you want to jailbreak a 2nd gen iPod Touch with it? 2nd gen iPods redsn0w jailbreak relies on a much lower exploit (bootrom) which of course allows you to do more to the system

Unless of course you are talking about the new "8GB Mc model iPod"
In which case i would recommend a full restore (not from a backup) and then go to jailbreakme again

Note: You CAN downgrade late 2G 8GB iPods MC model, by entering DFU mode using iTunes 9.1 (not 9.2)

None of these have worked and I can't downgrade and i think restoring sounds drastic and the and I clicke the firmware and device on the site and it atomaticly to the homescreen

Restoring may be the only thing you have to do.Restoring isn't all that bad...it just takes a while to transfer all 6GB of files over (considering you have that much on it).

Or, go to jailbreak.modmyi.com, click the plus, save to springboard for you to try again later.
