Here's the story. I'm bored, so I want to upgrade to 4.0. Right before I updated, I backed up my JB apps with Rock and I bought an app off the AppStore called NewsRack for $5. So, I went into iTunes and I shift-clicked restore to 4.0. After waiting a while for it to load, it gives me an error. I had totally forgot that you had to be on iTunes 9.2 to upgrade to 4.0. But, I looked down at my iPod, and the screen was on, but displayed nothing but black. I disconnected it, turned it off and then back on and it was in Restore or DFU mode. So then I updated to iTunes 9.2, and shift-click restored to 4.0 successfully. During the time it took to sync and what not, I wrote a guide on how to compile iDeviceRestore lol. Anyways, I was playing around with tthe new features, to find that NewsRack was gone. Does anyone know a way to get it back?
