    Hi

Can I still purchase the January update even though I've run jailbreak 1.1.4 on my ipod touch?

    Thanks in advance

sorry, this may seem a silly question, but why would you want to?

you have already voided your warranty by jailbreaking, so what's the problem with downloading the january update patch free from installer?

    :S

asking for them is kinda.... illegal... my thoughts would be to search the web... or this forum.... or look at community sources and follow that pathway...

    think about it!

not really illegal, all you are doing is just changing a few values, your not actually stealing any code from apple.

WOA wait a minute... How would they know that you JBed you iPod Touch? Whenever you have a problem just reset your firmware to the original or use ZiPhone's virginize to restore your iPod and you can bring it to your Apple vendor worry free. Though, if I'm wrong please correct me, but I really don't think that you can void your warranty by JBing.
