    Thanks a bunch

Don't solicit ROMs or ROM sources on this site.

We are not aloud to distribute ROM's here as they are illegal. Please read the rules.

and if they were illegal, why is Cydia distributing them? Does this mean that jailbreaking is also illegal, and all the apps in Cydia and installer are illegal as well?

    1. Cydia doesn't distribute anything. It enables end-users to connect to repositories that distribute software, etc.

    2. Jay Freeman (saurik) creator of Cydia, is not responsible for illegal repositories.

    3. Jailbreaking is not illegal. Emulators are not illegal. Cydia is not illegal.

    4. ROMs are illegal, however.

Btw, what's the point of having a legal emulator but illegal roms?

    Thanks for clearing this up.

Some people have legal ROMs, (they own the original game and converted / ripped it).

I don't want to get into the "point" of it; I was just explaining what is legal and what isn't.

I could have sworn it was legal for a person to have a rom of a game they owned, or was that just me
