    I used to mod people's psp's for 15$ until I sold my pandora's battery for 50$.....

If you want to do it the easy way, you need to open your battery up and take a single pin out with a razor or x-acto knife. The chip has the model number S93C56 printed on it. You need to take pin 5 and lift it off of the board.

After that you need to put custom files on a memory stick, just google 3.90 M33-3.

Put the battery that you took the pin out of in the psp, wait for it to turn on, then slip the memory card in and you have a modded PSP.

-This is the way where your battery will never work normally again, so have another battery ready. You can use the modded battery to mod other peoples psp's for cash.

-There are a bunch of other ways to do this, i know, but this is by far the easiest for me. Only takes 5 minutes.

    i have 3.90 m33-3

    what firmware do you have?
depending on your fw, there are different ways to downgrade to 1.50

after your on 1.50, you can install custom firmware which lets you play downloaded games in the .iso and .cso format.

You don't need to downgrade, just use the pandora method it can install custom firmware on any psp, forever.

    I don't have a Pandoras battery though.
I have a normal and I don't want to mess mine.
These kids are doing it at my school for $15 but I don't think I'll ever get my PSP back once I give it to them.
I have firmware 1.81 and I know a way to downgrade via Lumines or GTA:LCS but I don't have neither of them. I also don't want to mess my battery up.
I'm thinking into bringing it into this gaming place so they can do it for me.\

EDIT: can someone tell me the process of how a Pandora's battery works?

Once you put it into the PSP and turn it on what will happen?

If you mess up your battery trying to make a pandora you are either blind or have no hands.
When you put the battery in the psp nothing happens, the power light turns green and thats all.
When you put the custom memorystick in, it boots up a menu that had 4-5 options 1 of those being 1> Mod your psp to 3.90 M33-3
