A PSP emulator would be great.
It can be possible because the psp processor is 333 mhz and ipods processor is 400 mhz.
    So its fast enough.
So maybe an PSP emulator with ISO reader.

I don't think you get how much 33mhz actually is.. Thats an incredible difference.. It would be so laggy it would seem like a slide show.. Not to mention the ROM size aswell..

Also... the iPod runs at over 400mhz, BUT, the psp has a kickass graphics accellerator. This will never happen.

yeah and the fact that, unless we had the exact same code that sony use for their hardware etc, we would need a way more powerful processor...

Actually the psp runs at 222mhz for most of the games, its only been resently that they made it 333 (only some games can do it like god of war). So theres an almost 200mhz difference but its still not possable.

If we cant do it on a computer then it cant be done elsewhere. Also I like to say this to people who think coding is wasy and dont appreshiated that hard work that coders like me (yea i code c++ and java....) and zodttd: Wheres your (insert application here)?

The PS1 emulator has still yet to reach full speed, let alone a PSP emulator, which would have to be near PS2 graphics.

In fact it is PS2 graphics.. There is only one fully functional PS2 Emulator for a computer let alone one developed for an iPod Touch..
