Can anyone who has upgraded to iOS4.1 let me know if the proximity sensorbug is completely fixed? I know it was stated that it should be eradicated but I'd like to hear from someone who has actually tried it in practice.

Also is AVRCP Bluetooth working fully?

It's basically a sens that senses when an object is close. In the iPhone, it turns the screen off when your making a call and you put your phone to your head.

The proximity sensor is triggered when you bring the phone close to your to make or take a phone call. The 3GS I had previously worked well and when I cradled the phone between my shoulder and ear, the screen was disabled exactly as it should have been. However, the iPhone 4 sensor is very erratic and I, like many other people, have been ending calls accidentally as well as keying number tones etc - very annoying. iOSv4.1 is supposed to correct this and adjust the sensitivity of the sensor - hopefully it has? I may even upgrade to iOS4 before the jailbreak is available if this and the bluetooth AVCRP issue has been fixed.

I havent really experienced many problems with it, but its happened maybe once since i updated it. Not sure if its the firmware, or the like 40 times that i've dropped it. XD

I never had the sensor issue on 4.0.2 but when I updated to 4.1 I get it EVERY single time. Luckily I sometimes only end up putting it in speaker. Most of the time I see the light come on (at night) and wait for it to fix itself. But it happens multiple times in the same call.
