At my school I need to use a proxy and also enter my login and password for the computer network. (Novell)

If I could crack my schools WEP key I would be so happy. I would bring my laptop and do it with that but my school staff keep a close watch on me with computers (It may have something to do with me hacking their systems, getting admin rights and installing DOOM '95 on every machine on their network). All the schools in my district have the same Wi-fi name , "Blackholesun" so I am hoping that they all have the same WEP as well.

well there are some programs you can use to crack wep encryption.i read it in a ".... For Dummies" book but stoped reading it b/c it was way to complicated.plus you could get in some serious sh*t with the popo for doing this.the book said that it is only to be used WITH PERMISSION .

You can nicely ask your network personal if they can give you a password.

I agree - if you see the technician at the place you want to use the iPod, I'm sure they'll give you the password.
I got the wireless password from my school's technician no problem.
