My iPod touch (on the newest beta) does not play music files downloaded on iTunes because iTunes states that the firmwire is too old. Is there a way around this in iTunes or do I have to strip the drm?

If I have to strip the drm, what application (Mac OS X Leopard) would be best?

    Thanks.

either your account is not installed on your ipod or the new beta just dont supports the drm.... i guess
there are ways to crack the drm... and its even legal

I have the same problem, but on the site you mentioned, there isn't any Softare availble for download, not even older versions...

If you want to strip DRM, you can burn the tracks to an audio disk and re-import them.

Or you can use the iMovie trick. Google it. It's basically importing track into an iMovie project and using that to convert to a non-DRM format.

I have the newest beta, and I haven't encountered any iTunes music store problems, but I suggest you make sure your account is active on your iPod

that's really not possible. there is no DRM support on the Beta's. You can sync iTunes Plus purchases, however, because they are not DRM protected.

    Double twist is the best.
