Well it appears to have anyway. As always there is a way out but I had to lose my Jailbreak.

Synced my iPod today and it somehow wiped all my music, videos, photos etc.
Anyway i plugged it into iTunes and i got this picture. Ignore the extracting bar, thats me trying to sort it out. Instead, check out the storage meter at the bottom:

iTunes knew my files were there but iTunes or my iPod could recognise them. The only way I was able to fix this was to put my iPod in DFU mode, shift click restore and put the original firmware back on.
Restoring the iPod files from a backup doesn't work because it reboots the ipod and you need to put it in DFU mode for it to reboot, therefore disconnecting the backup.

    Anyone else had this problem?
